According to Oxford Languages, anomaly is defined as something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected. We define anomaly as a verb, moving towards understanding and celebrating how each of us are uniquely different from our peers, our parents, and our neighbors. Throughout the therapeutic process, clients are empowered to continuously collect data of their feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and reactions in an effort to draw formal conclusions that clients can fully and authentically own.

Anomaly was established because Jess, the founder, felt strongly of her own data collection of her dreams, needs, and goals for the mental health space to create a foundation that more accurately represents where mental health care and advocacy can be. Anomaly values mental and emotional connection. While the client-therapist relationship is unique to the space we share, it further supports that honest, authentic, and brave vulnerability can heal.

At current, anomaly offers standard 50-minute individual and couples counseling, extended sessions (90-minute, 1/2 day intensives and full day intensives), as well as EMDR.
