FAMILY SESSIONS

The family system is complex. Family members interact to influence one another’s behavior, and there is a level of interconnectedness that inspires us to view (and work with) the system as a whole rather than its individual parts. From parent-child to sibling-related conflict, our approach is grounded in family systems theory as we work to identify and address dysfunctional patterns of behavior in an effort to create lasting, functional change.

Further, think of a family session as an invitation to involve more than just a partner in therapy, but also an opportunity to build inclusivity and trust by including a child, sibling(s), and so on. If you have questions about family sessions, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a consultation.

  • It may be recommended that a longer session is more effective when working on and in a family system. Options include: 50-minutes, 90-minutes, 1/2 day intensives (3 hours).

  • Insurance is not accepted at this time, and all services are considered out of pocket.

  • Anomaly does offer reduced rates. Please contact us for availability.
