Jess Mansell, LPC-MHSP, E-RYT 200
FOUNDER OF ANOMALY
While originally from Upstate, New York, Jess now considers Nashville home after moving here in early 2016. She has a B.S. in Communication Studies with a Gender Communications focus, and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy.
Jess started Anomaly Therapy in March of 2021 to help create a therapeutic system that helped advocate for mental health outside of the individual therapy relationship. That goal continues to be at the forefront of why and how she makes decisions on behalf of Anomaly.
Jess is a mover and a shaker. With nearly a decade of experience teaching yoga, she continues to routinely teach at Fahrenheit Yoga where her soul comes alive creating space for students to decompress and gain insight of their mental, emotional and physical alignment.
When not in her office or inside the studio, you can find Jess being her natural competitive self at her gym with her husband, or enjoying life with their pup - Charlie.
Jess is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to the clinical space in May 2025. Her response time to emails may be delayed. If you are a new client seeking therapy more immediately, please reach out to Cayce Smith: cayce@anomalytherapy.com or Camilla Scholz: camilla@anomalytherapy.com. If you would like to work with Jess specifically, please email her directly and she will respond to your inquiry as soon as she is able: jess@anomalytherapy.com
